Quasi War, 1798-1800

Ok, there we are back in history.  We fought the Revolutionary War against the British.  We fought the War of 1812 against the British.  And.....

We fought an obscure marine conflict called the Quasi War in 1798 to1800 against the ... uh ... French.   Our ally, where Benjamin Franklin was our ambassador.  I just found out about it last week.  I'll be 67 years old next Sunday.

Just found out about it!  What a great school system we've got.  Americans are nuts.
