Well... Best Buy had the PS3 version of
Fallout New Vegas on sale for $9.99, thirty bucks off (!), so I at that price I bought it anyway. That was Monday. Today, I had to
download update version 1.06, which is about 3 Gb of data and takes about three solid hours at Verizon hotspot speeds.
That was odd, all told. I don't see any difference in the game but I suppose there's something critical in there. I'm not that far in, still tracking down the neophyte locations — Mojave Outpost, and such — and Levelling Up to where the game is playable.
